Hello

PerformanceClicks™ is an online pay-per-click (ppc management ) advertising service which puts your business in front of customers who are searching for your products and services. Network Solutions, a leading provider of Web-based business solutions, today launched its new pay-per-click suite of services called PerformanceClicks™. With 94 million Americans using online search engines in any given day , most small businesses understand the importance of being found online; however they often don't know how to get their Web sites found by the top search engines. With PerformanceClicks, customers receive the support of dedicated, trained online marketing experts who work closely with them to develop pay-per-click campaigns that drive immediate, qualified leads to their Web sites. Companies could see an increase in business on their sites within 5 to 7 days.

"That's why our team of online marketing experts will do the work for them by researching and selecting the right keywords that help maximize sales on their Web sites."

"Working with the Network Solutions' online marketing team takes a lot of the daily advertising and marketing burden off my plate so I can concentrate on other aspects of my business," said Mark Hritz, owner of Blueheadsets.com, a company that specializes in Bluetooth® and other wireless headsets. "They know much more about pay-per-click advertising than I do and they're making my advertising budget go much farther while producing great results."

The PerformanceClicks suite of services includes ad campaign options that fit any budget. For as little as $125 a month, customers can sign up for the PerformanceClicks Guaranteed package where they can select a number of clicks per month based on their budget and a Network Solutions online marketing expert will work to maximize the ad placements on major search engines such as Google®.

For businesses that want to quickly maximize the amount of traffic to their site, the PerformanceClicks Maximize package will provide them advanced reporting and additional consultation time with an online marketing expert to determine the best approach to converting more leads into buying customers.

World Exclusive RocknRolla Trailer

Guy Ritchie is back in his old stomping ground with RocknRolla. The Lock, Stock... and Snatch director has returned to the world of dodgy dealers, shady scams and back-stabbing that made his name, with a story of a tale of Russian mobsters running amok in the Big Smoke.

Featuring Gerard Butler, Thandie Newton, Jeremy Piven and The Wire's Idris Elba amongst the cast, the film is out on 5th September but we have the world exclusive look at the first trailer for you right here, right now. Click below.

IMPAwards has a new poster for Righteous Kill, which you can see a large version of by clicking the littl'un below.

Righteous Kill, directed by Jon Avnet, marks the second time that Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino have shared the same screen, this time playing a pair of detectives hunting a killer who seems to be imitating (or is he?) a man they put behind bars two years ago.

The film is out in the US on September 12 and in the UK on September 19.

Full Trailer For Eagle Eye

Paramount has released a very promising looking trailer for Eagle Eye, the upcoming thriller from D.J. Caruso. You can watch it at Yahoo, here.

The film stars Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan as two apparently ordinary people who are drawn into a dangerous plot by a woman who speaks to them only on the phone. But can they outwit phone lady and regain their lives? We don't know, we haven't seen the film yet. We were asking you.

Eagle Eye is released on September 25 in the US and October 17 in the UK.

Another Terminator 4 Poster

The Amsterdam Cinema Expo has been turning up several treats recently, the latest of which is another poster for Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. You can see the banner, which shows a terminator with gun-arm attachment (a type we don't recall from previous movies, but we could be wrong) at Filmonic here.

The fact that it's hanging next to the banner for Keanu Reeves-starring sci-fi remake The Day The Earth Stood Still, which you can see better at Film1.nl here, pretty much confirms this is genuine.

Thanks to reader Joe for the tip.

Chris Carter Shooting Secret Project

Chris Carter Shooting Secret Project

Chris Carter sure does like to keep secrets from people. The plot for the second X-Files movie is still locked away somewhere, guarded by the Lindbergh baby and Lord Lucan, and now news emerges that the director is putting together a new project in secret.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Carter is currently filming a movie called Fencewalker, with a cast that includes Natalie Dormer, Kate Cassidy (daughter of David), Xzibit, Derek Magyar and Meckah Brooks.

The film is described as a dark coming-of-age, semi-autobiographical drama that doesn't contain any supernatural elements. The project is said to be self-funded and does not currently have a distributor.

So, why is Carter keeping this is a secret? If it's not a big Cloverfield type thing then why not just announce it? Does this go all the way back to the President? Is 9.30am too early for chocolate? Do these trousers match this shirt? The world needs to know!

Spielberg Tackles 39 Clues

Spielberg Tackles 39 Clues
Buys rights to book series, may direct

Spielberg Tackles 39 Clues

Not content with merely working on Tintin, buying back DreamWorks, tinkering with Lincoln and The Chicago Seven and counting the money bags coming in from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Steven Spielberg has just bought the rights to upcoming adventure series The 39 Clues for DreamWorks, with an eye to directing.

The series, which will include books (ten are planned), collectable cards and online elements, centres around a mystery which kids around the world will be invited to solve for the chance to win $10,000. The story of the books revolves around the mega-rich Cahill family, who can trace their ancestry back to both Napoleon and Houdini, and whose matriarch, Grace, changes her will on her death bed. She offers each of her descendants the choice of a clue to the "source of the family's powers", which presumably means money. That, or some Da Vinci Code-like secret.

There's said to be enough material in the game for three or four films, should it be a big enough hit, with author Rick Riordan having completed work on the first book and mapped out the ten book arc.

Spielberg is definitely producing the film, and is said to be "eyeing" it as a directing vehicle as well. In any case, expect him to set a screenwriter soon and set the ball rolling on what sounds like an interesting idea.

Cage & Brosnan In Polanski's Ghost

Cage & Brosnan In Polanski's Ghost

Nic Cage and Pierce Brosnan have been cast in Roman Polanski's thriller The Ghost, Brosnan has told MTV.

Brosnan will play an ex-British Prime Minister named Adam Lang, with Cage playing the ghost writer of Lang's memoirs. When said writer becomes privy to secrets about a scandal involving Lang, he has to choose between loyalty to his subject and a desire to preserve his own safety. The film is based on a novel by Robert Harris.

Sounds like classic Polanski to us. As a director who's always been best with small, paranoid stories, it'll be fascinating to see him going back to that kind of material after several years spent painting on much bigger canvases.

New Dark Knight TV Spot

"Ooh, very poor choice of words"

New Dark Knight TV Spot

Why, when the release date for The Dark Knight is so tantalisingly close, does it still feel so damn far away?

Here at Empire Towers, the anticipation for Batman's return is reaching rather scary levels - if we were offered a Faustian pact to see this flick right now, you know what, we'd take it. Luckily, those good folks, Warner Bros are attempting to assuage our fanboyish impatience with this new TV spot.

There are a few bits of new dialogue and some hitherto unseen footage in there, so click and enjoy and count down the days until July 25.

Hilary Duff To Stay Cool

Hilary Duff To Stay Cool

Teen star Hilary Duff may not get your blood pumping, but how about formerly big names like Winona Ryder, Chevy Chase, Sean Astin and Jon Cryer? Still not excited? Well, it's being directed by trendy identical twin directors Mark and Michael Polish, of Northfork and Twin Falls Idaho, er, fame, and is being described as a "know your age" comedy.

Mark Polish also stars as a successful author who returns to his high school to deliver a "commencement address" (confusingly, in the US this means graduation, rather than the start of school. Those wacky Yanks!) but who has never gotten over his high school crush, Winona Ryder. Duff, meanwhile, has just signed on as high school senior Shasta O'Neill, who flirts with Polish' author and invites him to the prom, a nice step up from the tweenie roles Duff is best known for, but still not likely to push her off the rails and lose her the position of Only Teen Star Not To Flash Her Bits At The Paparazzi any time soon.

No word yet on who Astin, Cryer or Chase will be playing, but shooting starts in July in California, with a script by both Polishes and Michael Polish directing. Kinda sounds like Grosse Pointe Blank only with less murder, eh?

George Gallo Is Making Porn

George Gallo Is Making Porn

Well, this has come as quite a shock to us. Apparently, some hairy-palmed types have been using the internet as a source of pornography. In fact, so widespread is the enthusiasm for online rudery that its creation is to be the subject of a movie. Oh, we know, we couldn't believe it either.

George Gallo, writer of Bad Boys and Midnight Run, will write, along with Andy Weiss, and direct Middle Men, which tells of the birth of pornography on the internet. The story follows a straight-and-narrow businessman who wades into a world where wee-wees and hoo-has are available at the click of a mouse and sews the seeds of what has become a multi-billion dollar industry.

The film is set to shoot in September. See, now suddenly that last sentence looks rude. Porn is corrupting.

Fox Picks Up Rip X

20th Century Fox has picked up Rip X, an action pic being written by Matt O'Neil (Homecourt Advantage) and to be produced by Vertigo Entertainment (The Strangers). No more is offered on the plot than it's in the vein of The Fast And The Furious, so we're guessing there will be cars.

Yes, that is probably the least interesting news story ever, but there is little to nothing happening today. There's so little to this story that we even had to use a picture of Vin Diesel in The Fast And The Furious for want of any other visual inspiration. Well, how would you picture Rip X?

The Disaster Movie Trailer Is Online

The Disaster Movie Trailer Is Online

As film fans, we at Empire prefer to hope that all films can be good until proven otherwise. We have a very hard time using that rule with Disaster Movie, the latest 'spoof' from Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, the trailer for which you can see here.

It doesn't make us laugh, it just makes us angry. That's not funny and it's definitely not spoof or satire. If you're going to call yourself Disaster Movie, why not play on the tropes of disaster movies? There are a lot of them. Hancock and Enchanted are not disaster movies, and you've also made jokes – and we use that term incredibly loosely – that don't so much mock those films as simply copy them, but with louder sound effects and more falling over. You're not puncturing anything, just pointing at things someone else has done and pulling a funny face. You, Misters Friedberg and Seltzer, bring shame on the term spoof. Go and watch Airplane or Top Secret and see how it's done. Oh great, now our ears are bleeding.

Do you want to believe?

More Stills From The X-Files 2

X-Files News has been supplied with a selection of new images from The X-Files: I Want To Believe, which you can see by clicking the picture below.

The plot of the second X-Files movie has been a closely-guarded secret, but these pictures clearly signal every plot point. It is quite obviously a about a race between Mulder and Scully to find a really warm coat. See how in three photos Scully is wearing a camel number, which she even wears inside because she is so chilly? And Mulder treks through snow, asking people about the location of something akin to a duvet with arms, clearly on a more promising path than his female partner. Will he win? No! Finally, see the picture above with Scully wearing a much warmer get-up and Mulder looking cheesed off. Clearly, Scully steals a nice big puffa from a visiting alien with poor circulation and the rift drives the pair apart FOREVER. Should we have put a spoiler warning on that?
